How to Cut Steel Tube

  1. Import the tube program (reads SolidWorks IGS) with all features.
  2. Load the tube into the front and rear pneumatic chucks; the variable-diameter support holds long tube.
  3. Run one-click square-tube leveling; the system finds the rotation center automatically.
  4. Select power and assist gas for the material and wall thickness.
  5. Cut to length, adding holes, slots, copes and bevels in one pass as the tube rotates.
  6. Unload; offcut is as little as 30 mm.
