Continuous Laser Cleaning
A continuous-wave 1080 nm fiber beam strips heavy rust scale, thick paint stacks and oxide layers over large areas. We supply portable units from 1500 W to 3000 W, a floor-standing 3000 W configuration, and a 6000 W heavy-duty machine — all water-cooled.

Configurations & Power Levels
Four power levels across three configurations. Choose by how much material has to come off, how large the area is, and whether the machine moves to the work or the work comes to it.

Portable — 1500 / 2000 / 3000 W
One 91.5 kg cabinet at 1025 × 420 × 710 mm covers the range, with a 0.7 kg gun on a 10 m fiber. Rated draw runs 4 kW to 8 kW and supply is 220 V or 380 V by power level.
Floor-standing — 3000 W
A 220 kg unit on a single-phase 220 V supply at 1050 × 700 × 1000 mm, with a wider 0–320 mm scan and a 10 m fiber. Suited to a fixed bay rather than a moving job.
Heavy duty — 6000 W
243 kg with a 22 L industrial chiller rated for round-the-clock shifts. Handheld scan width is adjustable from 5 to 500 mm, at M² ≤ 1.2 on a 380 V three-phase supply.
Why Continuous
Throughput on Heavy Deposits
A continuous beam keeps delivering energy for as long as the trigger is held, so thick, stubborn layers come off in far fewer passes than a pulsed source would need.
The 6000 W machine runs behind a 22 L industrial chiller rated for round-the-clock operation, so a shift is not limited by the cooling loop.
At 6000 W the beam clears rust scale over 3 mm thick and paint stacks of five layers or more, on hull plate, structural steel and mould faces.
A tight 1080 nm beam at 6000 W holds a usable spot across a scan width adjustable from 5 to 500 mm, so wide sweeps do not cost cleaning power at the edges.
The water-cooled gun weighs 0.7 kg on a 10 m fiber, hand-held for awkward geometry or mounted to a robot arm for repeatable passes.
What It Is
What Is a Continuous Laser Cleaning Machine?
A continuous laser cleaning machine runs a continuous-wave 1080 nm fiber beam through a scanning gun, sweeping a line up to 500 mm wide across the surface. Where a pulsed machine works in short bursts, a continuous beam keeps delivering energy for as long as the trigger is held, so heavy rust scale, thick paint stacks and oxide layers come off far faster over large areas. The gun is water-cooled and weighs 0.7 kg, and the same head can be hand-held or mounted to a robot arm. Nothing touches the part, no abrasive is fired at it and no chemical is applied, so the only waste to collect is the removed contaminant itself.

Cleaning rate depends on the contaminant, its thickness and the substrate. Send us a sample or a photograph of the actual part and we will size the power level and the configuration against it.
Applications
Applications & Use Cases
Continuous cleaning suits large steel surfaces and heavy deposits — hulls, structural sections, weld seams, moulds and pipeline flanges.

Comparison
Comparison & Selection Guide
The choice comes down to how much material has to come off and how much heat the part can take.
Continuous cleaning is chosen for throughput on heavy deposits. If the substrate is thin, polished or heat-sensitive, the pulsed line is the safer starting point.
