When marking has to keep pace with a production line, the build changes. An industrial machine is made to run all shift, behind an enclosure, tied into line control.
Why an Industrial Build Works
It loads by conveyor or fixture and integrates with your line — the setup for high-volume, lights-out marking. An inline flying configuration codes parts on the move at up to 200 m/min (single-line 2 mm characters), built for production-date, batch and traceability coding across packaging lines.
Built to Last
The beam changes the surface itself, so nothing is added on top. The result won’t smear, peel or wash off, and it holds up to heat, oil, solvents and years of handling. The fiber source is air-cooled, consumable-free and rated for roughly 100,000 hours.
Specs That Matter
Power runs 20–100W on the fiber platform, 1064 nm, with a 100–300 mm field, ±0.002 mm repeatability and speeds to 10,000 mm/s on the galvo. The inline build adds 360° head rotation and up-and-down column travel to reach the print line, and runs an industrial Raycus source.
How a Job Is Set Up
- Mount or feed the part and set the focus distance.
- Import the mark file and set pulse, speed and frequency.
- Run a sample, check contrast, then save the recipe.
- Tie the trigger to the line sensor and start production.
- Scan codes inline and log first-article approval.
