This is the workhorse CO2 build for the bench — a galvo head over a fixed table, marking non-metal parts batch after batch.
Why a Galvo CO2 Head Works
Two fast mirrors place the beam across the field at speed, so static parts mark quickly and repeatably. It suits batch work on wood, acrylic, glass, leather and coated metal. An RF (radio-frequency) CO2 source with an all-metal sealed design gives long, stable service and runs air-cooled with no consumables.
Built to Last
The beam changes the surface itself, so nothing is added on top. The result won’t smear, peel or wash off, and it holds up to handling — permanent and non-fading.

How a Job Is Set Up
- Load the part and set the focus with the dual red-light autofocus.
- Import the mark file and set power, speed and frequency.
- Run a sample on scrap, check contrast, then save the recipe.
- Fix the jig for repeat positioning and start the batch.
- Inspect the mark and log first-article approval.
