Wire support: in addition to 5356 aluminum wire, our wire feeder handles 4043 aluminum wire (1.0–1.2 mm) well — broader than the single-alloy feeders common on the market.

How to Weld Aluminum (steps)

  1. Clean the surface (remove oxide and oil).
  2. Select power and wire (4043 or 5356).
  3. Set pulse/wobble for heat control on thin sections.
  4. Use shielding gas (Argon recommended for aluminum).
  5. Weld and inspect the seam.
