When the Part Won’t Come to the Machine
Some parts will never fit inside a marking cabinet — frames, pipes, moulds, welded assemblies and oversized panels. A handheld unit solves that by bringing the beam to the part. Ours is a portable fiber marker, so it writes directly on metal as well as hard plastics.
How the Handheld Works
The source and electronics sit in a light case; a hand-held head carries the beam. It runs on a 24V lithium battery — fully wireless, no cable drag — for 6–8 hours of normal use, and marks while it charges. The marking head weighs just 1.25 kg, so you point, trigger and mark with one hand.
What a Fiber Handheld Marks
At 1064 nm it marks metal directly — steel, iron, aluminum and copper — plus electroplated and painted surfaces and hard plastics. The mark is into the metal itself, so it survives heat, oil and washdowns.

What to Check
Weight and battery life matter most in the field. The head is one of the lightest on the market at 1.25 kg and the whole machine about 6 kg, so it carries easily and a supplied case keeps it safe between sites. The battery covers a full shift.
