Production Laser Cleaning (Continuous)

Production Cleaning

For steady production cleaning of rust, paint and oxide across larger surfaces, the proven format is a water-cooled continuous 3000–6000 W laser cleaner — high throughput (50–100 m²/h at 6000 W), consumable-free and about 40% cheaper than sandblasting on heavy work. For fine or portable jobs, a pulsed 50–100 W unit fits better.

See the full laser cleaner power selection guide to match power to your rust thickness, area and material.

When to choose continuous 3000/6000 W

  • Rust and coating thickness — thick scale and multi-layer paint. Thin surface rust and light coatings are better served by a pulsed unit.
  • Area and throughput — large surfaces and production lines rather than spot work on small parts.
  • Material tolerance — robust steel structures rather than delicate or heat-sensitive substrates.
  • Power supply — water-cooled machines running on mains power in a fixed bay or production cell.

What the throughput looks like

At 6000 W the machines remove rust at 50–100 m²/h and strip paint at 30–60 m²/h. On hull work that runs roughly 40% cheaper than sandblasting, and in pre-weld cleaning it holds a 99.5% first-pass yield. There is no grit and no chemical waste stream to handle afterwards.
