Handheld Laser Rust Removal | Pulsed 50/100 W Portable Derusting

Handheld Laser Rust Removal — Carry the Beam to the Work

A handheld laser rust removal machine puts portable derusting in your hands: no fixed station, no blast booth, no consumables. You carry the beam to structural steel, weldments, site repairs and hard-to-access surfaces that cannot come to a machine. All handheld formats run pulsed fiber — the air-cooled design that keeps units light enough to carry without a chiller.

Two Pulsed Formats — 50 W and 100 W

Pulsed 50 W: Lightest unit, finest ablation control. Ideal for light surface rust, oxide films, thin scale and any work where substrate damage tolerance is very low — conservation, precision fabrication, decorated surfaces. Air-cooled; no chiller required. Pulsed 100 W: Higher throughput while keeping the air-cooled, portable format. Suits heavier surface rust, weld-seam pre-treatment in the field, and larger areas where 50 W would be too slow. Still handheld-portable for on-site work.

When to Choose a Fixed Station Instead

When the job is thick scale (≥ 3 mm), large continuous area or requires production throughput ≥ 50 m²/h, the cooling load and power draw call for a fixed workstation. Continuous 3000 W or 6000 W covers these applications — water-cooled, three-phase power. Choose 50/100 W pulsed for portability and precision; choose 3000/6000 W continuous for volume.
